1. General Safety Rules Policy

Introduction

At Essential Medical Imaging Solutions (Essential MI Sol), we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety for all our staff, clients, and patients. This policy outlines the fundamental safety guidelines that all employees must follow to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, including full-time, part-time, temporary, and contract workers of Essential Medical Imaging Solutions.

General Safety Rules

  • Compliance with Laws and Regulations:
    Employees must adhere to all applicable health and safety laws, regulations, and standards set by federal, state, and local authorities, as well as by our clients' policies.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
    Employees must use appropriate PPE as required by their job duties and client site protocols. Proper use and maintenance of PPE are mandatory.
  • Reporting of Hazards:
    Employees must immediately report any unsafe conditions, hazards, accidents, or injuries to their supervisor or the designated safety officer.
  • Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace:
    Essential MI Sol maintains a strict policy prohibiting the use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace. Employees must not be under the influence of these substances while on duty.
  • Emergency Procedures:
    Employees must familiarize themselves with and adhere to emergency procedures at each client site, including fire evacuation plans and emergency contact information.
  • Infection Control:
    Employees must comply with infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene and the safe disposal of medical waste.
  • Equipment and Machinery:
    Employees may operate equipment and machinery only if they are properly trained and authorized. Safety procedures must be followed at all times.
  • Training:
    Employees are required to participate in all safety training sessions provided by Essential MI Sol and/or the client.
  • Incident Reporting:
    All incidents, no matter how minor, must be reported promptly to both Essential MI Sol and the client following established reporting procedures.
  • Confidentiality and Privacy:
    Employees must respect patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA and other applicable privacy laws.

Enforcement

Failure to comply with these safety rules may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. The safety of staff, clients, and patients remains our top priority.

Acknowledgment

All employees are required to read, understand, and sign this policy as a condition of employment.


2. SMS Communication Policy

SMS Consent Communication:

The information as phone numbers obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Types of SMS Communications:
